We always have good memories from Shishlik.Good food and good vibe. The ladies who were serving us were not generous enough this time and we had to ask every thing SEVERAL times. We were 9 ppl around the table and just one us , the host was asking for extra cup and spoon and fork.We were expecting more friendly service.Food was GREAT , EXCEPT dander, which smelled not good and all ppl had this idea about that. But every thing else was perfect.Happy to have such a great restaurant in Vancouver ❤️
Visited shishlik couple of weeks ago for the first time. The restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its great atmosphere that truly enhances your visit. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The food, overall, is decent. The kababs are particularly noteworthy—nicely cooked and delicious, showcasing the authentic flavors of Persian cuisine. The service was generally good, with attentive and friendly staff. However, we were a bit disappointed when we requested to substitute rice with salad due to dietary preferences and were told it was not an option. It was disheartening to see all that rice go to waste. Despite this, overall experience was good
I recently dined at Shishlik restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The portion sizes were very generous, making it great value for money. I especially loved the Gheimeh Nesar; the meat was exceptionally well-cooked and flavorful. However, I found the dish to be a bit greasy.I would love to see less greasy options in the future, but overall, it was a delightful meal. Highly recommend!
Shishlik offers an incredible culinary experience with its delicious Persian cuisine. I highly recommend trying the kebab and hot bread; they are simply amazing. Overall, I'd rate my experience at Shishlik as 4 stars. The food deserves a solid 5 stars for its exceptional taste and quality. The kebab and hot bread are must-tries! However, the service could be improved. The staff was not very friendly and seemed a bit ignorant at times, earning 3 stars. Despite this, the food alone makes Shishlik worth a visit.
I recently dined at Shishlik restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a delightful meal. The food quality was exceptional, with each dish bursting with flavor and freshness. What truly stood out was the impeccable customer service; the staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed. Moreover, considering the high standard of food and service, the prices were quite reasonable compared to other similar restaurants in the area. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Shishlik and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
The food at the Shishlik restaurant is of relatively good quality, and it seems they have made an effort to maintain that quality. The restaurant's dining area is somewhat small, and sometimes it may not accommodate the demand. The staff puts in a lot of effort to ensure customer satisfaction. However, the only thing that surprised me was that on one occasion when I went alone to the restaurant, despite there being empty tables for four people, out of respect for those with larger parties, I was seated at a table directly in front of the kitchen. The server brought me a different type of glassware, which was different from the standard restaurant service, and I spent the entire time amidst kitchen exchanges and traffic. The food quality was good, but my seating was very uncomfortable. Here, I will attach a photo of when I had a suitable spot inside the dining area, and another photo of the place where I was seated in front of the kitchen with a different type of glassware, representing a different aspect of the restaurant's hospitality system.
