Gaslighting, poor customer service, deflection. Up until recently, I had been a client with them for the past 5 years and they have lost all trust and respect from me. I used to LOVE this place - but recently they hired new staff and Dr. Navid has change the best thing about this place which was the customer service. I used to love this place so much, I'd actually fly out specifically to go to this dentist and not only have they wasted my time recently, but also have been rude/argumentative, unprofessional, and unapologetic on various billing/customer service issues. In particular the Anna (or Ana) responsible for billing (the new one) has been EXTREMELY RUDE and dismissive. In addition, the l not once did Navid call me to sort this out (even after the multiple times I asked to chat with him). This group suffers from poor insurance coordination and poor customer service. Dentists are a dime a dozen - I wouldn't even bother at this place. Also, the hours aren't the best. Unfortunately, I think it will take them a few rounds of loosing customers, before they get it.I have every right to be upset about my experience. Oh, and most recently, the damn work that he did didn’t even last I the crown he did less than two years ago fell out of my mouth. When I reached out to them about it, of course they didn’t do anything. You don’t need to believe me go experience for yourself. A lot of people and these reviews have gone once maybe twice and they get you up with the basic cleaning and the quiet lobby, but it’s when you go back for major work or things that require more complex billing which leaves room for them to make mistakes and leaves room for you to get frustrated and then they close the circle by getting an attitude with the customer because of their screwup. Do better Redmond Family Smiles. I do not recommend this place.
I’m sharing my experience to address both communication and care issues I’ve encountered during my visits.During my recent visit, Dr. Navid performed a filling on my tooth. I had shared my health concerns, which are clearly documented in my health history. Despite this, when I asked about the type of anesthetic being used, Dr. Navid responded with a dismissive and inappropriate comment: “the one I use for a horse.” This remark felt condescending and trivialized my valid concerns. While an alternative anesthetic was mentioned, it was not prioritized as it should have been, considering my situation.I brought up this issue to his office and requested an apology. Dr. Navid later called and apologized, which I appreciated. During the call, he mentioned that if the sensitivity in my tooth did not go away within six weeks, it probably meant the filling hadn’t bonded properly, and I should return for refilling.However, after the sensitivity continued and I contacted the office again, I was told that my procedure notes stated “the tooth has a large restoration with a crack on the underlying structure” and that a root canal or crown might be necessary. I was referred to an endodontist for further evaluation.While I appreciate the referral, I can’t help but wonder if my earlier feedback and criticism influenced how my concerns were handled. If the crack and potential need for more extensive treatment were already known during the first visit, why wasn’t this communicated clearly at the time? Instead, I was initially advised to come back for a refilling. Transparent communication from the beginning would have prevented unnecessary confusion and frustration.Trust and compassion are fundamental in patient care, and unfortunately, I did not experience that here.I do not recommend Dr. Navid.
The team is amazing, and kind, they explain everything well, and if you have an emergency they look for a time to assist you, I love them!
Dr. Navid Farzadfar and his team are great. The level of patient care Redmond Family Smiles has is perfection. I’ve been a patient for almost 2 years and I highly recommend them.
I have lived in Seattle area for twenty five years and changed many dentists till I met Dr. Navid. He is the best I have seen. He is efficient, friendly and honest. I have never had any issues ever. I suggest him to all!

I have been going here for years and I like the customer service and timeliness of their appointments. I also appreciate their honest assessment of my teeth, I don’t feel like they are trying to take advantage of my insurance and find issues just to make money.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Navid for a few years now and had the best experience with him. He never does unnecessary work and was great replacing my broken crown from another office. My whole family goes to him now.

I was fortunate enough to have my best friend be my dentist but after I moved from California, I had to find a dentist. HOW THE HELL WOULD I TRUST ANY OTHER dentist now?!?!? There comes Dr. Navid like a superman and rescues me. I could not be happier, he is absolutely a gem. He truly cares and he is not any other dentists out there filling every single tooth to just make money. I feel blessed that I was able to find a dentist who I trust 150%. I’ve been coming here for years! The staff is super friendly, the practice is very clean and Dr. Navid is friendly, helpful and very approachable. They don’t push unnecessary work or try to up sell you. They clean your teeth, treat you with respect, remember who you are and have excellent customer care.

I had a wonderful experience with my recent tooth cleaning here. The staff were friendly and professional, and the cleaning was thorough yet gentle. My teeth feel so clean and fresh now, and I'm happy to have found a great dental practice that I can trust with my oral health!

He was thorough in his examination, answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns, and put me at ease with his calm and patient disposition. I highly recommend him and his team.
Dr. Navid and Triton were so amazing at my procedure. During my initial exam, they made me feel comfortable and confident on how we were going to proceed. During my next visit, they were so aware & Accommodating to my feelings and anxiety around dental procedures. I was 100% comfortable and it was quick and painless. I can’t promise no pain, but I can promise that you will be taken care of by Dr. Navid and his entire team of professionals. I am so thankful I was referred to him. Thank you guys!!
