This is one of our favorite places! We eat here often before going to a performance at UW or Seattle Public Theater at Greenlake. The food is always wonderful and the staff gracious. Our favorites are the Koobideh & Chicken kabobs, and the Mirza Ghasemi & Shirazi Salad appetizers! I've tried several other dishes on the menu and not been disappointed!
One of my friend never had Persian food before so I treated him to this restaurant and he was impressed. We got Tahdig with Fesenjan, Mirza Ghasemi, Beef Koobideh, and Lamb + Chicken kebabFirstly, the Tahdig (saffron crispy rice) is phenomenal. It's not too hard, but it's crispy enough to give a nice crunch. If money and health weren't barriers, I'd order other Tahdig options and devour them. Mirza Ghasemi is a dance on the mouth, it's a tomato-eggplant based dip that comes with a flatbread called sangak. That's one of the best appetizers out there imo on Persian cuisine, Kashke Bademjan, minty fried eggplant dip with whey, is a great option if you don't like tomatoes. For those looking at reviews and unsure of what to try: Ghormeh Sabzi is a herbal stew that's one of the oldest recipes in the world. If you want to eat history and feel healthy, give it a try. They also offer it with Tahdig!Overall, this is a great restaurant! Give it a try!
For sure this restaurant has the best Persian food in the west coast. The Manager is sooooo kindFoods are perfect.Delicious. We had TAHDIG, BAKHTIYARI, KOBEDIE & SHISHLIK.you should try this place and enjoy it.
Good place to dine with family & friends, good with the meals and good with the bill also. If one compare with others like this, this is good with food & bill too.Bill depends upon personal intake. 30 per head is the maximum figure for the family members.
Very good Middle Eastern food. Food here is good but underrated Kebabs are highly recommend. Atmosphere really really need upgrade but it doesn’t mean you can’t dine there. Staff are so friendly and warm. Management is a very nice pal and running this restaurant for over the 30 years. I try to go back once a month. It’s a cozy spot and wish they renovate the place.
The food was not fresh, very greasy and does not taste good. Also borani Eggplant was not similar to the original persian and was a cold kashkbadenjan.
I have been looking to visit Persepolis Grill for years but finally visited recently and I regret not visiting sooner. I split an order of tadig with Geymeh Bademjan and the King's Choice platter that had a koobideh kabob, chicken kabob, and barg kabob. Persian food isn't well represented in Seattle, so I'm glad I was able to try some more here because it was delicious. The tadig was wonderfully crispy and the geymeh bedemjan added some nice acidity with the tomato based sauce. I was amazed by how tender and moist all three kabobs were. Most times I have koobideh, it's been dry, but theirs is so tender and flavorful. All kabobs were delicious but I loved the koobideh and the chicken kabobs. What will stick with me the most though was how nice one of the owners was. He really wanted to make sure we enjoyed the food and seemed genuinely pleased they we really loved it. I really appreciated his hospitality and the conversation we had. If I'm on the Eastside I'll also try to visit Bella Balducci's which is the same ownership. Until then, I hope to be back at Persepolis Grill very soon.
The best Persian restaurant I’ve been too and one of the best restaurants in general. The chicken and barj were my favorite skewers perfectly grilled and juicy with hints of lime. Would definitely go there again.
We were in town for the weekend from Vancouver, BC. We do have a lot of persian resturants here in Vancouver but we decided to try this restaurant in Seattle. Great food. Big portions and delicious. Kabob was amazing 👏. Definitely recommend to anyone who lives in Seattle or visiting.
Making right on point persian kabob is not easy at all but they do it. Thanks to Kaveh and his amazing team for making this cozy humble and quality food restaurant. Thanks and Keep it up.Oh ... The Mirza ghasemi was top notch as well and haft-sin table made my feelings flow and glow.
We tried tah dig with fesenjon, Joje Kabab and kubideh. To be honest none were good! Fesenjon was super sour, joje kabab was super sour. Kubideh did not taste like kubideh. Their tahdig was good but very greasy. Was my second time, I did not like the first time either but was persuaded to try again. Wont go there anymore.
The venue is nice and clean, it's our first time here and the food was quite delicious, great flavors and well grilled. Not sure how to eat some of the appetizers, but for what you pay, the food quantity was quite large.
Pretty quiet and chill environment, the floor is extremely slippery though, please be careful while going to the bathroom the floor is not wet but whatever they are mopping with is making the floor extremely slippery, you all might want to stop that before someone gets hurt! Service was amazing, it is a nice family run restaurant and the portions of food were humongous. The food was very delicious we will certainly be back!
I went here in years ago and told multiple people how amazing the lamb kabab was. I rarely go to Seattle, but I made a trip recently to try the lamb kabab again. It was still good. I think my story got so big that no one could produce the sensation I remembered.
Great meal to get a true experience of Persian cuisine. Started with doogh (spiced yogurt drink) and mirza ghasemi (smoked eggplant, tomato and egg) which was smooth and tasty, and dolmeh (lamb wrapped in vine leaves) which were especially delicious. The beef and chicken kebab were nicely spiced but not as tender as we were expecting, while the lamb was perfectly tender and delicious in its sauce. Dessert was perfection - akbar mashti (rose-saffron ice cream) was full of delicate flavors. Service was good and good arrived quickly. Can't wait to go again.
Let me start with saying how yummy the tahdig was , we got ghormesabzi tahdig as appetizer , which was a big plate , almost an entree size ! Crispy and thick ! Amazing taste, probably the best I could eat !For entree we got barg kabab and gheime bademjan, I had bademjan which was well prepared ! I probably missed a little limoo ammani in it , but any how it was very yummy. My friend got barg, which I tried a little bit of , and the meat was soooo soft , which disappeared in my mouth within a few bites! And left me with delicious flavor ! Great barg! Very well cooked !And now let me tell you why I took off one start! And that is only because they did not have Persian ice cream , although I could see it on the online menu , but their paper menu didn’t have desserts like ice cream , when I inquired they replied “we have saffron ice cream” which is not Persian ice cream , you can probably buy saffron ice cream from any Walmart store . However when I go to “Persian restaurant “ I expect to have authentic Persian menu .However , I would try this restaurant again , I loved barg , tahdig , I want to try some other eggplant dish there too (like kashk bademjaan which read quite appetizing)
