The inspiration behind the living Room Lounge stems from the owners travels across the world, where he realized that there is no other first-class establishment that pairs nouvelle cuisine with hookah and drinks. Thus, the subtle, refined and contemporary atmosphere at the Living Room is unlike anywhere in the world.
THE LIVING ROOM EXPERIENCE
The Living Room Lounge caters to a diverse clientele and offers a transformative, lush, and cosmopolitan retreat in the heart of Burnaby, British Columbia. As you enter the lounge, we have social seating available where Business associates can nibble on appetizers and network with old and new colleagues alike. Our bar space is ideal for reflecting after work or relaxing before dinner. Entertain your out-of-town guests in one of our many comfortable leather booths or invite your loved ones to savor the tranquil British Columbia scenery on our spacious outdoor patio. Moroccan style seating was created for guests who are seeking an authentic and exclusive Middle Eastern experience. In the Moroccan seating, guests are asked to remove their footwear and relax in our comfortable custom made sofas.
The VIP Room is the most opulent area in the lounge. Make your way from the bar to be greeted by velvet sofas, plush tapestries and modern vibe. Lounge, relax and revel in our exclusive hookah flavors as you enjoy attentive first-class service. Here, you can also host parties and events that will impress the most affluent of guests.
DINING AND DRINKS
Employing world-class culinary techniques from the Middle East, the Living Room Cafe proudly features a full Halal dining menu, using the best ingredients sourced both locally and across Canada. Share a rich Living Room hummus with vegetables; then savor succulent lamb shank followed by a tantalizing sweet and crunchy baklava for dessert. Both meat and vegetarian options are available, as well as casual fare.
We also offer an extensive full-bar menu, including an award-winning wine selection, cold beer, champagne, unique cocktails, and mixed drinks. We also have a variety of non-alcoholic options such as tea, espresso, fresh juice, mock-tails, creamy milkshakes and fruit smoothies.
Guests will savor our international cuisine and leave with fully satiated palettes.
Excellent service in general. But guy in general named Ayman is the best. Lost my wallet and I live in California. Visited 2 months later and he remember my face and held it on for me. Definitely recommend this place!
I have to edit my review.. my first visit was a five star (back in 2023).. tonight was our second visit here coming from San Diego September 2024. Tonight was a bit different experience from last year.. it killed the whole vibe. Would have to change it to a two star.. here’s why..The front lady said they were closing in less than an hour but since we had fun last time we choose to kick it again. One of the flavors that we ordered was a bit off.. I asked them if they could changed the flavor, they said they will stop by our table and change it, but 17 minutes later no one came. So I asked again, still took them a while, about 10 minutes later the guy came and changed the charcoal, I asked if they could change the flavor, the guy said he’ll let the attendant know, few minutes later the lady came to tell us we have 10 minutes to finish our alcohol, I asked if we can have the flavor changed and she said that we would only have 20 minutes left and it would cost about the same price to change the flavor.Mehn… they could have change the flavor first time i asked and would have paid for it. But I feel like they should have just changed the flavor and try not charge us since the taste was off and they took a while.. I should have not paid and gave them tip right after they delivered our order. I think that was the reason why they dint give us much attention after. And this was supposed to be VIP room with a VIP service. It killed the vibe.. I don’t think we’ll be coming back here again.Best hookah spot in Vancouver. I occasionally does hookah with friends. Im from San Diego and there are bunch of cool hookah spots here.. I have to say that this place is easily on par with our Bests…. The ambience is so relaxing and the staff were really cool and friendly. There is an awesome vibe that you can actually feel. Lots of cool and friendly customers as well.. I brought some of my relatives and made em try hookah for the first time.. haha.. they love it. They will be going back there and I will definitely come back here on my next visit..

I recently visited Living Room Hookah Lounge and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, with comfortable seating that truly makes you feel like you’re chilling in your own living room. The hookah flavors are top-notch, with a wide variety to choose from, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They really know how to take care of their guests and make the experience enjoyable. The music selection was perfect, not too loud but still vibrant enough to create a great vibe. The service at living room lounge is excellent! The staff especially the hostess Jovanne is polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating+hookah experience. I was really impressed by the service and how beautiful the lounge was! They had a great playlist going throughout the night which did not disappoint!! Definitely worth it!
Great place to lounge with some friends, I highly recommend. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, especially this young lady named Jovanne. One of the best hookah lounges in Vancouver. Great atmosphere, very welcoming, the hookah and food are amazing, and their music taste is superb. Will definitely be coming back!!

Above and beyond hospitality! went there after dinner for my birthday and Mike surprised us with complimentary cake and made my night special ♥️ the music is always good here and best hookah around! 10/10 atmosphere thank you to the wonderful staff

The variety of flavorful shisha options was impressive, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Mike the owner is very understanding and cares about his customers. The service was prompt. The lounge had a great vibe with music and comfortable seating. Overall, a top-notch spot for anyone looking for a chill evening out. Best place in town. Hospitality and ambience is really good. Manager Mike is really accommodating. Moreover, he made sure all our requests were fulfilled. They have a great range of drinks to accompany with the hookahs. Our server made sure to frequently change our coal. I would likely come back here again and hope to have best service that i had from Mike.

Finally a hookah lounge with class and events going on!!!This is an unreal venue, they absolutely killed it with this space and the interior design. Warm and welcoming experience was given to us by the lovely host and the owner, Mike, was so nice! We were running a bit behind on our reservation and he didn’t rush us at all. The drinks and hookahs are both good and strong and the servers are awesome, mine , Teo, was always there when I needed her and never bothered when I didn’t. She was so sweet and had such a fun character, I even witnessed a group of them go over to a table to sing happy birthday to someone it was super sweet! I might plan my birthday here 😂We’ll be back soon!
