I had the absolute pleasure of trying the Dizi at Grill House Cafe, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had! The dish was incredibly flavorful, served with fresh, warm bread, minty herbs, onions, and a delicious mix of pickles that complemented the meal perfectly. To top it off, the doogh was so refreshing and tasted amazing.A huge thank you to Mr. Mansour, who personally served us and even helped mash the meat from the Dizi, adding such a personal touch to the experience. The service was exceptional, and the food was out of this world. If you’re a fan of Dizi, this place is a must-visit!
Very delicious authentic Persian food. From there fesenjoon to the lamb soltani. Very delicious and tastes like homemade.Mr Mansour the owner, is a great man, very welcoming, and comes and check on tables himself and great them. The servers are very pleasant too.On top of that they serve hookah too. Couldn’t get any better. It’s definitely my spot now.
Food was fresh and delicious, atmosphere was very clean and open seating-didn’t feel cramped. Just on the other side seems to be a semi hookah lounge. Very relaxing. Customer service was on point. Definitely coming back.
The servers and owner are hospitable and welcoming. The food is great, and we like Kalepache, and hookah. We will definitely visit them on a San Diego trip.
Very clean restaurant.. lots of healthy vegetarian and meat options. We’ve tried their chicken kabob, ghormeh sabzi, falafel plates and loved all of the items. One of the best persian restaurants I’ve been to. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
It was great Persian food very pleasantly surprised. A little bit pricey for the area and for lunch time but liked the quality and service. Must try Persian.
I was recommended this place because I heard it great things. I got the combination plate which contained chicken and beef kabob with rice. Food tasted great but not how everyone made it seem. Would I come back here? Yes I would. Price was not bad and service was great. Restaurant was clean and not dirty. Only thing was there was only 1 waiter working the whole restaurant so If we needed something it took a little longer than usual. Other than that great overall experience
We have ordered several times for delivery. Everything we have tried has been great. However every time we order the side salad that comes with entrees is never included. It is so frustrating. They always credit us money for the oversight but it doesn’t satisfy the palate when you wants some greens to complement your entree.

Best Persian restaurant I’ve ever had in San Diego. The food is delicious and always fresh.People there are so nice and friendly.I have been going to this restaurant for almost seven years, also it’s all my family favorite Persian restaurant too.Highly recommend.
Just to qualify, I am a middle-age Persian man with a good understanding what good Persian food should taste like. If I could give this place a zero star, I would! The food was unauthentically bad. The kebab was basically cold hamburger meat on a skewer, the rice was cold, limp and over cooked. The salad came with no dressing. Once our order did arrive, it was incorrect, and the server argued with us as to the accuracy of our placed order?! To top all that off, our server was managing the whole restaurant with at least 10 tables by herself. She was visibly and understandably overwhelmed! Unattentive service would be an understatement. I do not recommend this place to anyone. There are several other great Persian restaurants in town worth the effort. Don’t waste your time and money going to this place. Unfortunate!
I’ve tried so many Persian or Middle Eastern restaurants in San Diego and this place really stands out, like the other reviewers noted. Everything was delicious down to the rice being perfectly fluffy and moist. The chicken kabob was cooked perfectly! The restaurant is also very clean and beautiful, only topped by the fabulous service. Will definitely be coming back.
Great food with a warm friendly atmosphere. The food is cooked perfect with authentic persian flavor. Make sure to save room for desert and don't forget the tea! We will definitely be back and you should check it out too!
