I recently discovered a gem in Pike Place that has quickly become my go-to spot for takeout. The food here is consistently delicious and genuinely comforting. Every time I pick up my order, I’m greeted by the owner, who is incredibly friendly and always takes the time to ask how I like my food and if I have any preferences. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their customers’ satisfaction. What sets this place apart is the freshness of the food. The owner ensures that every dish is prepared fresh, and you can really taste the difference. It’s rare to find such quality and attention to detail in Pike Place, but this restaurant delivers every time. If you’re looking for good comfort food with a personal touch, I highly recommend giving this place a try!
This is a great food place. I went here and was immensely satisfied with my experience. This place has a variety of dishes, and I got the menu item that came with rice and chicken in a sauce with pomegranates. This meal always impeccable. The rice had a great mildly spicy seasoning on it, the chicken was good, the pomegranates were to die for, and the sauce tasted exquisite. Mixing the rice and sauce creates a marvelous meal. This restaurant has about four tables and a section of bar style seating. They also have a tv playing Persian music off YouTube, creating a fantastic ambiance. I gave this food place five stars because it has amazing food and a great atmosphere.
The quality of food def declined significantly since years ago go; too much salty and my food tasted like dish soap. Waste of time and money ; I hope I don’t have to go to hospital for this. No good my friend.
This has got to be the most underrated place in all of Pike Place Market. Tucked away in a little corner, they have friendly service with a family vibe, along with some solid food choices. The beef kabab and lamb kabab are both great. The meat is juicy and very aromatic. The rice (they told me they put saffron in it) is fluffy not mushy. The salad is tasty with the vinegar-tasting dressing sparkling through.
I'm surprised how people call that very tiny and dirty place a Persian restaurant or Cafe and share many beautiful photos!!! I found that on Google and because people posted good photos, I decided to go there and spend my time, I ordered Koobideh and chicken but the food was awful and I threw it out into the trash can. Although the owner had very nice behavior, but I request people to be honest about sharing photos and reviews.
Farvahars was wonderful! It's just a small restaurant in the market, but everything was delicious. I highly recommend the lentil soup! The owner was friendly and helpful and the prices were right. The next time I'm visiting, I will definitely go back.
We had 2 Sandwiches and it didn't taste like persian food at all, it was soggy, full of sumac, Kabab was not persian Kabab and it tasted old. Sorry but it was very very disappointing and don't recommend this place.
The people working there were so kind and friendly. They gave me updates of time until our lunches came out. I had the number 6 - beef kabab with saffron rice and salad. It was delicious and there was so much rice. I tried my friend’s chicken (no. 4) and it was also yum.
The Koobideh was not actually a Koobideh, more like a Kabab tabei! Low quality sorry ( coming from a Persian )Also, you don’t sprinkle Sumaq on the food because some people may not like it and it’s an optional side seasoning in Persian cuisine.
The food was amazing. Some unique dishes that I've never heard of before. The owner was also super nice and gave me a 13¢ discount 😎😎. Prices were much more reasonable than many of the other restaurants in the market.
I love Persian food and want to support them, but there’s no excuse for microwaving precooked kebab to serve to customers. On top of that, the food was not well seasoned at all. In fact, it tasted like one day old kebab. You can precook some dishes like stews and soups, but not kebab. It has to be fresh!
Amazing food! The owners were very gracious hosts and served us a bean and beef dish loaded with fresh herbs. Delicious! And the saffron rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked. We would definitely recommend and will be back.
Friendly staff, very good food. I have visited a few times in the past using meal pal, but I am glad I finally went in and ordered from the full menu. The lentil soup will warm you up if your sitting there in the winter.Ask for hot sauce, it's delicious.Again, the people working were great, they were happy to answer questions.Recommended and I will definitely be back in the future.
Absolutely delicious! Had the Kebab #6 and Borani Eggplant (kashke bademjan) and both were super yummy. Very reasonably priced and large portions. Staff is super kind and attentive. Arguably the best value for money in the area and a Pike Place must!
Delicious Fesenjoon. It has been a nice mild tart from pomegranate and texture from walnut. Not oily. Great flavor. Proprietor is very helpful and welcoming.September 2022 update. I returned and I had another perfect fesenjoon. You know it's an excellent resturaunt when they give consistently excellent food.
Most delicious meal I’ve had at Pike Place! Incredibly warm and friendly staff who made us feel welcomed (they gave us a salad while we waited!) and the food was so tasty! You can tell it was made with expertise and love. We had the fesenjoon and baghali polo. Would recommend this spot to everyone!
