It's super super expensive. We had one small cup of salty yogurt drink and the price was $12 😨😨 I don't know why, how they came up with this ridiculous price.
The first time I visited Cafe Turko was in 2017... and since then it is the absolute spot to find authentic and delicious Turkish food in Seattle!🔥 No matter who's visiting, family or friends, I ALWAYS take people here and each time service is wonderful, staff are kind, portions are generous and atmosphere is stunning. I would recommend outdoor seating for a sunny midday brunch and indoor seating for an evening dinner - must see decorations inside!!
The food was bland and lacked any real flavor, and the portions were ridiculously small for the super, super, super high prices. The only decent-tasting item was the Adana kebab, but even that was outrageously expensive. The cheese and sucuk pide was particularly bad – overpriced. The sucuk pide was especially disappointing, with barely any sucuk on it, while sucuk tasting horrible and a steep price tag. The ayran tasted good, but like everything else, it was also overpriced. On top of all this, the food did not taste authentic at all, failing to capture the true essence of Turkish cuisine. The entire experience left me feeling like I had wasted my money on subpar food. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will certainly not be returning. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
Shared the mezze platter and picked hummus, baba ganosh, dolmas, labneh, and olives very good! The hummus was the best! Also shared the mixed grill it was all very good
We, unfortunately, did not have the pleasure of having dinner here, but we did enjoy a lovely dessert with coffee! ☕️ Turkish coffee with revani, Süreyya’s “No Guilt” Baklava and Kataif with Turkish pistachios!Absolutely delicious! Our first time trying real Turkish coffee and homemade baklava 😇🫶 The staff made very helpful suggestions for choosing dessert and how to enjoy our Turkish coffee ☕️The only downside was we tried the milky-yogurt drink and neither of us liked it 👎I would return for dinner—everything looked delicious 😋Within walking distance of a neat Seattle attraction—the Fremont Troll 🧌 check him out!
I hate giving a local business only 1 star. But, I feel so disappointed. I spent $81 on food- Muhammara, Olive Pide, Grilled Chicken Pide, Falafel and Hummus, and Katiaf. The portions were extremely small for the price, and poorly packaged for to go. The pita was not freshly made and a store bought pita from the frozen section would have been better. The Katiaf was flavorless. It was unclear to me if the Grilled Chicken Pide had any form of chicken on it. The olive pide was fine but very small. The falafel and hummus was $17 and only 4 small pieces of flavorless falafel.I never would write such a scathing review for a local business, but this truly might have been one of the worst meals I've had in Seattle.
My first visit to this restaurant it was around 3 o’clock and the place was completely empty! We were seated immediately and got the menus we ordered the food and within less than 5 minutes the food arrived! The wasn’t prepared to order it seems like the food in general is cooked and they heated in a microwave or something however the food wasn’t hot and the vegetables were not to be found they were in the sauce but they were very smooshed and can’t be recognized. We never seen the server once after we were seated I asked someone there for the check and left. The food is not authentic Turkish food and I don’t recommend this place.
My partner and I came here to have dinner after a workout and the food was delicious and satisfying! We ordered 3 dishes and all were good and came out quickly. Only downside is during dinner they were out of many things we were hoping to try ranging from many of their beverages to some appetizers. But we look forward to coming in for lunch and hopefully having the chance to try it.
This place is great, but was to come back to do more shareable. Staff very nice and helpful. Food ready super fast. Love all the flavor and filled me up. Turkish coffee with pistachio is good (didn't expect pieces of pistachio in at first). Dessert was super light with fun mixture of textures. Not super busy during late lunch
Food was good, especially appetizers. Very good vegetarian/ vegan options. The host was really kind and helpful in explaining the menu. If you like coffee, I will recommend you to try their Turkish coffee; I personally enjoyed it.
My favorite Turkish restaurant in the Seattle area. The Turkish coffee is very good, lamb & chicken plates are great and so is the baklava! The staff is very friendly. The restaurant has lots of room for parties that forget to make reservations.Highly recommend!
